"Founded in 1972, the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway is a non-profit, volunteer-operated organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of historic railroad equipment for the education and entertainment of the general public. The route currently operates between Nelsonville and Logan was once a part of the original Hocking Valley Railway's Athens Branch.
The coaches used were built in 1927 for commuter service around Chicago and the primary diesel locomotive was built back in October of 1952. The coaches are heated in the winter, so a comfortable and enjoyable ride is to be had with Santa Claus during the annual Santa trains. "

One of the place which i enjoy is the John Bryan Park. its the most scenic state park in western Ohio. The park contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River which is designated as a state and national scenic river. A portion of the gorge itself is designated as a national natural landmark.
Much of the history of John Bryan State Park is "written in the rocks" of the Little Miami River gorge. Entering the area at Clifton, at 980 feet above sea level, the Little Miami drops 130 feet through layer upon layer of bedrock. Each layer has a story to tell of times when the area was covered by warm, shallow seas or was a part of a muddy river delta or was scoured by tons of slow-moving glacial ice. Each layer has its own characteristics as well. Some of the shale layers are easily worn away by the forces of erosion, causing undercutting in the cliff face. The more erosion-resistant dolomite or limestone rocks above are weakened by this undercutting and large "slump blocks" fall away, creating unusual rock formations including Steamboat Rock. Springs feeding small waterfalls and cascades are common.

The one place which I recommend everyone to go & have a look is Neil Armstrong Space Museum.Named in honor of Neil Armstrong, first man to set foot on the moon, this museum in Wapakoneta chronicles Ohio's contributions to the history of space flight.
Among the items on display are a F5D Sky Lancer, the Gemini VIII spacecraft, Apollo 11 artifacts and a moon rock. In the museum's Astro-theater, multimedia presentations of the sights and sounds of space unfold against a starry background.
Well lot of people assume it to be similar to U.S Air Force Museum, Dayton, but its altogether different from it, its all about space flights.
